Yes! The Gift Shop is open during Museum operating hours, all major credit cards are accepted. We do not take any mail order requests, nor will mail order requests of any kind be acknowledged.

Vendors who wish to contact our gift shop committee chairperson must do so in writing at our PO Box between 1/15 and 3/31 of the calendar year, no telephone requests or on site solicitations are accepted.

  • Openings are weather-dependent; if uncertain, call 401-423-3270.
  • Climbers must be at least 4 ft tall.
  • Climbers are strongly urged to consider footwear other than flip-flops.
  • Neither small children nor pets may be carried.
  • Climbers must be in line one-half hour before closing.
  • Both hands must be free for climbing. In addition to the 49 steps of the spiral staircase, a 7 ft ladder requiring both hands must be scaled to reach the observation catwalk.
  • A five-dollar ($5) donation is suggested for each adult climber.
