Museum Hours for 2009:
The Beavertail Lighthouse Museum is open weekends beginning Memorial day weekend May 24 through June 14, Noon-3PM.
May 23-25, 30-31 and June 6-7, 13-14: Noon-3PM

From June 15 through September 7, Labor Day, Museum is open 7 days a week, 10AM-4PM

From Labor Day to Columbus Day (October 12th), Museum is open weekends only, Noon-3PM
Sept. 12-13, 19-20, 26-27 and Oct. 3-4, 10-11: Noon-3PM

After Columbus Day, the museum closes until Spring, 2010, but do call us at (401) 423-3270 or e-mail us if you have a tour group you'd like to bring to the Beavertail Lighthouse Museum!

Beavertail may be reached via Rhode Island route 138 from the east or west side of Narragansett Bay. After crossing the Jamestown bridge (from north Kingstown) or the Newport Bridge (from Newport), follow the signs to Jamestown Center. Continue southward past Mackerel Cove Town Beach to Beavertail State Park at the tip of the island.
