Museum Hours for 2010:
The Beavertail Lighthouse Museum opens weekends starting Memorial day weekend (May 29th) Noon to 3:00 pm. For the first two weekends in June, the museum is open from noon to 3:00 pm.

Starting June 14th until Labor Day the museum is open 7 days a week, 10:00 AM TO 4:00PM.

From Labor Day (September 6th) to Columbus Day (October 11th) the museum is open weekends, noon to 3:00 pm.

After Columbus Day, the museum closes until Spring, 2011, but do call us at (401) 423-3270 or e-mail us if you have a tour group you'd like to bring to the Beavertail Lighthouse Museum!

Beavertail may be reached via Rhode Island route 138 from the east or west side of Narragansett Bay. After crossing the Jamestown bridge (from north Kingstown) or the Newport Bridge (from Newport), follow the signs to Jamestown Center. Continue southward past Mackerel Cove Town Beach to Beavertail State Park at the tip of the island.
